The polling place at Meridian at Westwood, Precinct 48, will be closed in consideration of various orders from the state-level. This is a self-contained precinct. All eligible residents who have not voted yet will be given a vote-by-mail ballot by facility staff so as not to interrupt voting for the March 17, 2020, Presidential Preference Primary. The Fort Walton Beach Recreation Center will remain a polling place on Tuesday, March 17, 2020, despite the City of Ft. Walton Beach's closure of public facilities. The Rec Center will only be open to voting residents of Precincts 22 and 41, along with SOE staff and poll workers, will be permitted into the building. The Rec Center will resume regular closure in accordance with the City of Ft. Walton Beach's announcement following the closing of the polls at 7:00 pm.

Early Voting for the March 17, 2020, Presidential Preference Primary will be held March 7 through March 14, 2020, at 5 Early Voting Sites. Hours will be 10 am - 6 pm daily. All locations and information can be found at https://www.govote-okaloosa.com/Ways-to-Vote/Vote-Early
